Terms and conditions

1. Booking and confirmation

Training participation is booked via the organizers. Participation is considered confirmed as soon as the participant and the organizers agree and payment has been made. The contract between the parties is concluded upon payment.

2. Payment (membership fee)

Payment must be made before the participant's first regular training session. The first try-out training is free of charge. From the second training session onwards, the participant is obliged to bear the costs (Price according to the website at the time of contract conclusion).

3. Prices and services

The current prices and services can be found on beachvolleyballzuerich.ch. The organizers reserve the right to change prices at any time. Bookings that have already been concluded remain unaffected by price adjustments.

4. Coaches

The training is conducted by qualified coaches. At least one coach is present to lead each regular training session.

5. Weather

Outdoor trainings take place in all weather conditions, except in the event of storms or hail. The decision to hold/cancel training will be made by 17:30 on the day of training.

6. Code of conduct

Participants are expected to treat each other with respect and appreciation within the training groups. Discriminatory, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in exclusion from the training. Exclusion from the training will result in no entitlement to a refund.

7. Conflicts and resolution

If dissatisfaction, conflicts, or tensions arise within the group or with individual participants or coaches during the training, the participant is expected to address these issues promptly and directly with the organizers.

In such cases, the organizers will try to find an objective and fair solution together with all parties involved (e.g., through discussion, adjustments within the training structure, or other appropriate measures).

Withdrawal without first attempting to find a solution does not entitle the participant to a refund.

8. Training level and group allocation

Group assignments are made based on the try-out training and the participant's self-assessment in consultation with the organizers.

By definitively registering for a training group, the participant confirms that they consider the training level and group composition to be suitable.

A later withdrawal with a request for a refund due to a training level that is considered too low or too high is not possible.

However, the organizers will try to find a solution together within the scope of organizational possibilities (e.g. change of group), without this creating any entitlement for a refund.

9. Cancellation of the training

If the minimum number of 4 participants is not reached, the training will be canceled.

In addition, the organizers reserve the right to cancel the training in exceptional cases for the following reasons:

· Illness/accident of the coach

· Emergencies (e.g. family)

There is no training during public holidays and the Christmas vacation (week 52/01).

However, the facility can be used at training times, even if the coach is absent.

10. Participant cancellation

There is no entitlement to a refund in the event of

· Cancellation of a training session (e.g. for reasons under clause 5 or clause 9)

· non-attendance of a training session (regardless of the reason for non-attendance)

· premature withdrawal from the training group (e.g. for reasons under clause 7 or clause 8)

11. Risk of sports accidents

Participants practise their sport at their own risk. The organizers are in no way liable for accidents and physical damage resulting from the practice of beach volleyball.

12. Liability for theft and loss

No liability can be accepted for any personal items that are lost during a training session. We also accept no liability for theft and accidents.

13. Liability for damage

The organizer accepts no liability for damage caused by participants. In the event of intentional or grossly negligent damage to inventory (posts, nets, balls, training material) or damaging behavior, the perpetrators in question may be expelled from the location in question immediately and without warning. The resulting costs and damages will be borne by the perpetrator.

14. Photo, film and data rights

By participating, the participants declare their consent to pictures and video recordings being made and distributed by the organizer and shown publicly (including on the internet) - also for the purposes of their own or third-party advertising. If any participant does not want to be recorded, he/she may communicate that before a recording is started.
